Imam Ali (AS) said, One who neglects his recourse (or natural disposition) is made to rise [towards it] by tribulations.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَنْ قَعَدَ عَنْ حِيلَتِهِ (جِبِلَّتِهِ) أقامَتْهُ الشَّدائِدُ
