Imam Ali (AS) said, Indeed, I have not seen any place whose seeker is in slumber like Paradise and any place whose fleer is in slumber like hellfire.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ألا وَ إنّي لَمْ أرَ كَالجَنَّةِ نامَ طالِبُها وَ لا كالنَّارِ نامَ هارِبُها

Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily the people of Paradise constitute all the believers who are easygoing and gentle.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ أهلَ الجَنَّةِ كُلُّ مُؤْمِن هَين لَيْن

Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily Allah, the Exalted, makes whomever He wishes, from those of his servants who posses sincere intentions and righteous hearts, enter Paradise.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ اللّهَ تعالى يُدْخِلُ بِحُسْنِ النِّيَّةِ وَ صالِحِ السَّريرَةِ مَنْ يَشاءُ مِنْ عِبادِهِ الجَنَّةَ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Paradise is the abode of peace.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلجَنَّةُ دارُ الأمانِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, If you must be desirous of something, then be desirous of a Paradise, the span of which covers the heavens and the earth.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily you will not enter Paradise until you restrain yourself from misdeeds and stop [committing them]; and deter yourself from sins and desist [from them].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّكَ لَنْ تَلِجَ الجَنَّةَ حتّى تَزْدَجِرَ عَنْ غَيِّكَ وَ تَنْتَهِيَ وَ تَرْتَدِعَ عَنْ مَعاصيكَ وَ تَرعَوِيَ

Imam Ali (AS) said, If you believe in Allah and abstain from what He has forbidden, He will put you in the Abode of Peace, and if you please Him, He will cover you with [divine] favour.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إذا آمَنْتَ بِاللّهِ وَ اتَّقَيْتَ مَحارِمَهُ أحَلَّكَ دارَ الأمانِ وَ إذا أرْضَيْتَهُ تَغَمَّدَكَ بِالرِّضوانِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The price of Paradise is good deeds.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ثَمَنُ الجَنَّةِ العَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The price of Paradise is renunciation of the [pleasures of this] world.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : ثَمَنُ الجَنَّةِ الزُّهدُ في الدُّنيا

Imam Ali (AS) said, The chiefs of the people of Paradise are the generous and the pious.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : سادَةُ أهلِ الجَنَّةِ اَلأسْخياءُ وَ المُتَّقُونَ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The chiefs of the people of Paradise are the God-fearing and the virtuous.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : سادَةُ أهلِ الجَنَّةِ الأتْقياءُ الأبْرارُ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Seeking Paradise without good deeds is foolishness.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : طَلَبُ الجَنَّةِ بِلا عَمَل حُمْقٌ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Paradise is not achieved [simply] by wishing for it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لاتَحْصُلُ الجَنَّةُ بِالتَّمَنّي

Imam Ali (AS) said, Neither a swindler nor one who put others under obligation, will enter Paradise.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لايَدْخُلُ الجَنَّةَ خَبٌّ وَ لا مَنّانٌ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Every bliss other than Paradise is derisory.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كُلُّ نَعيم دُونَ الجَنَّةِ مَحْقُورٌ

Imam Ali (AS) said, None will be victorious in attaining Paradise except the one who works hard for it.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَنْ يَفُوزَ بِالجَنَّةِ إلاّ السّاعي لَها

Imam Ali (AS) said, None shall attain Paradise except the one who struggles against his [lower] self.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَنْ يَحُوزَ الجنَّةَ إلاَّ مَنْ جاهَدَ نَفْسَهُ

Imam Ali (AS) said, One who yearns for Paradise forgets his [worldly] desires.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَنِ اشْتاقَ إلَى الْجَنَّةِ سَلا عَنِ الشَّهواتِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Paradise is attained through abstaining from sins.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : نَيْلُ الجَنَّةِ بِالتَّنَزُّهِ عَنِ المَآثِمِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, One who shuns what is forbidden shall attain Paradise.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : نالَ الجَنَّةَ مَنِ اتَّقى عَنِ المَحارِمِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, How impossible! Allah cannot be cheated of His Paradise, and none can attain what is with Him except by His pleasure.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : هَيْهاتَ لايُخْدَعُ اللّهُ عَنْ جَنَّتِهِ وَلا يُنالُ ما عِنْدَهُ إلاّ بِمَرضاتِهِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The delegation that enters Paradise is constantly showered with blessings.
