Imam Ali (AS) said, Be wary of gluttony, for whoever persists in it, his maladies increase and his dreams get corrupted.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إيّاكَ وَ الْبِطْنَةَ فَمَنْ لَزِمَها كَثُرَتْ أسْقامُهُ وَ فَسَدَتْ أحْلامُهُ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Be wary of gluttony, for indeed it causes hardening of the heart, sluggishness in prayer and corruption of the body.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إيّاكُمْ وَ الْبِطْنَةَ فَإنَّها مِقْساةٌ لِلْقَلْبِ مَكْسَلَةٌ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ مَفْسَدَةٌ لِلْجَسَدِ
