Imam Ali (AS) said, Verily the true friend of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, is one who obeys Allah even if his close relatives distance themselves from him [because of it].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ وَلِيَّ مُحَمّد صلَّى اللّه عليه و آله و سلَّم مَنْ أطاعَ اللّهَ وَ إنْ بَعُدَتْ لُحْمَتُهُ
