Imam Ali (AS) said, The succession of days are [like] dreams, their pleasures are [causes of] agonies and their gifts are [fraught with] evanescence and maladies.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كُرُورُ الأيّامِ أحْلامٌ وَ لَذّاتُها آلامٌ وَ مَواهِبُها فَناءٌ وَ أسْقامٌ
