Imam Ali (AS) said, A person may lie about himself regarding that which he did not do when he is faced with severe tribulation.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : قَدْ يَكْذِبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلى نَفْسِهِ عِنْدَ شِدَّةِ البَلاءِ بِما لَمْ يَفْعَلْهُ
