hadith 6115
Imam Ali (AS) said, Justice means that you act equitably when you are oppressed, and kindness means that when you gain authority, you forgive.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلعَدْلُ أنَّكَ إذا ظُلِمْتَ أنْصَفْتَ وَ الفَضْلُ أنَّكَ إذا قَدَرْتَ عَفَوْتَ

hadith 6137
Imam Ali (AS) said, The most just of all people is he who is equitable despite having power, and the one who has the greatest clemency is he who is clement despite having authority.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أعْدَلُ النّاسِ مَنْ أنْصَفَ عَنْ قُوَّة وَ أعْظَمُهُمْ حِلْماً مَنْ حَلُمَ عَنْ قُدْرَة
