Imam Ali (AS) said, Indeed your goodness towards the ones who plots against you from your opponents and enviers is more irritating for them than your trying to do them harm, and it is [also] a means of inviting them to reform [themselves].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّ إحْسانَكَ إلى مَنْ كادَكَ مِنَ الأضْدادِ وَ الحُسّادِ لأغْيَظُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ مَواقِعِ إسائَتِكَ مِنْهُمْ وَ هُوَ داع إلى صَلاحِهِمْ
