الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلْهَدِيَّةُ تَجْلِبُ المَحَبَّةَ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Nothing gains the favour of the ruler, quells the rancour of an enraged person, attracts the deserter [to come back], makes difficult matters easy and keeps wickedness [and evil] at bay like the [giving of a] gift.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَا اسْتُعْطِفَ السُّلْطانُ وَ لاَاسْتُسِلَّ سَخيمَةُ الغَضْبانِ وَلاَ اسْتُميلَ المَهْجُورُ وَ لاَ اسْتُنْجِحَتْ صِعابُ الأُمُورِ وَ لاَ اسْتُدْفِعَتِ الشُّرُورُ بِمِثْلِ الهَدِيَّةِ
