Imam Ali (AS) said, The forbearance of a person is evinced from his abundant tolerance, and his nobility [is evinced] from his abundant benefactions.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى حِلْمِ الرَّجُلِ بِكَثْرَةِ احْتِمالِهِ وَ عَلى نُبْلِهِ بِكَثْرَةِ إنْعامِهِ
