Imam Ali (AS) said, Fasting of the soul from the pleasures of this world is the most beneficial fasting.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : صَوْمُ النَّفْسِ عَنْ لَذّاتِ الدُّنيا أنْفَعُ الصِّيامِ
