Imam Ali (AS) said, O Servant of Allah, do not make haste in [exposing] the fault of a servant, for he may have been forgiven for it, and do not count yourself safe from [your] small sins as you might be punished for them.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : يا عَبْدَاللّهِ لاتَعْجَلْ في عَيْبِ عَبْد بِذَنْبِهِ فَلَعَلَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ وَ لاتَأْمَنْ عَلى نَفْسِكَ صَغيرَ مَعْصية فَلَعَلَّكَ مُعَذَّبٌ عَلَيْها
