hadith 3079
Imam Ali (AS) said, Be amicable with the people and you will enjoy their brotherhood; meet them with cheerfulness and you will cause their malice to die away.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : دارِ النّاسَ تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِإخائِهِمْ وَ الْقَهُمْ بِالبِشْرِ تُمِتْ أضْغانَهُمْ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Be courteous to your enemy and be sincere with your close friend, [by this] you will protect [your] brotherhood and safeguard [your] magnanimity.
